Job Description
PC Networks Analyst (Hardware & Remote Access)
- What’s involved with this role:
You will be part of the PC Networks team within the Infrastructure section of the City of London’s Information Systems (I.S.) Division. You will assist in providing a server and back office infrastructure development, maintenance and support service to the community of distributed processing users. This will include the selection, implementation, support and maintenance of server based hardware and the configuration, implementation and support of the server operating system and back office components.
Ensures the provision to customers of professional, comprehensive, responsive, efficient and effective, high quality services that exceed the requirements of the relevant service level agreements.
A proportion of the team’s work is operational in nature, the rest being project based. The team also supports departmental networks divided amongst the team members at the team leader’s discretion; you should expect to be allocated a number of networks immediately.

Strong experience of PC & Server support, in a network environment

Anticipated Length of Assignment: Temporary role for 3 months initially, though considered likely to be extended.
Hours per week: 35, Monday – Friday, normal working hours
