Job Description

Building Surveyor - Adult Services and Housing

[temporary, but potentially long term role – see below]

As a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS/FRICS) with a minimum of 3 years relevant post qualification experience to deliver a commercially effective professional estates and valuation service on all land and property matters concerned with the development, acquisition, regeneration, disposal, hiring, letting and management of land and property.

• Giving yourself the best chance of success:

1. UK working experience
2. Member/Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
3. At least 3 years relevant post qualification urban estates surveying experience including property management, valuation and appraisal
4. General management experience including landlord and tenant
5. Driving Licence

2. Any relevant qualifications held or being studied for

• Client: Public sector organisation

• Division(s)/Disciplines involved: Adult Services and Housing

• Anticipated Length of Assignment: All of our roles are designated temporary, though in practice we find that the vast majority of them get extended on a multiple/long term basis. This one is expected to be for 6 months, initially.

• Hours per week: 35-37 (tbc) Monday – Friday, normal working hours
