Job Description
Solicitors and Team Leaders sought for an established Legal Practice in Bromley - within sensible walking distance from the train station!
we are assisting our client in strengthening these new but now established teams and enhance/balance the skills of the department further
The role is very much performance/ man-management team leading. Candidates need to be aware that the role is all about KPI's, appraisals, one-to-one's, reviews, audits (5 audits per team member), mentoring and coaching etc. Team Leaders will also been given a small caseload of approximately 35 files, all of which are litigated complex matters.
Key Tasks
- To contribute to the delivery of the key performance targets by achieving own objectives effectively e.g.: productivity, leakage, budget and service targets
- To handle and resolve complex technical cases or referrals and/or complaints within own authority limit
- To comply with the Solicitors Accounts Rules and Rules of the Professional Conduct of Solicitors in accordance with company guidelines.
- To gather and accurately analyse appropriate information in order to make the best business decision aligning with the total and /or partial resolution of Third party `s needs
- To take pro active steps to effectively deal with claimant's solicitors in order to achieve overall key performance objectives
- To provide legal advice and assistance in a professional manner.
- To manage litigated files in accordance with client protocols
Education and Experience:
Candidates may come from an Insurance or Legal based environment.
Appropriate post qualification experience of handling RTA/EL/PL claims pre and post litigation including more complex liability disputes within a law practice or in-house team.
Knowledge/experience of claims handling with an "enabling" case management system would be an advantage.
