Job Description

Telesales Consultant

Salary: £25k + Commission

Location: Reigate

Initial 6 Month contract with permanent opportunities as team will be recruiting and expanding later in the year.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a leading insurance provider to work in their sales department. You must be confident and enthusiastic on the phone with previous telesales experience, but not necessarily in Financial Services as training will be given.

You will be required to…

• Develop effective relationships with allocated IFAs to produce new business.
• Promote the companies proposition in a professional manner.
• Secure new business.
• Deliver individual consultants sales targets
• Competently promote the companies proposition
• To understand the IFA protection marketplace
• Contribute to the overall team performance through sharing of information, ideas and tasks
• Provide market feedback to the Sales Development Manager
• Work closely with others in the team and the wider sales division to coordinate efforts and share ideas.
• Work with Customer Services to ensure the correct and smooth handover of tasks
• Understand strategic partner network firms propositions and their set ups.
• Keep up to date with market developments including knowledge of key competitors’ propositions and activities.

Skills and Experience…

• GCSE or equivalent passes in English and Maths
• Strong Telephone sales experience, working with performance targets
• Very good communication skills both written and verbally
• IT Literate
• Proactive telephone sales experience
• Organised and methodical
• Able to work on own and as part of a team
• Willing to study for CF1-5 examinations if role goes permanent.
