Help Desk / Application Support Analyst - 1st & 2nd line
Salary:£25,000 + free parking and benefits
Based:Crawley
This fun and growing software company provide applications to a specialist industry sector.
They are looking for a talented and customer focussed 1st and 2nd line customer support analyst for their bespoke software application.
Tasks include troubleshooting problems from simple customer questions to database issues and reporting queries. You will be responsible for managing ticket queues and keeping clients informed of progress.
In-house training will be provided where necessary. You must have proven end user application support experience. Candidates should have excellent Maths GCSE result and or Computing qualifications.
Experience of:
• SQL queries,
• backing up and restoring SQL databases
• installing and uninstalling applications
• knowledge of ODBC and some networking knowledge
• Active Directory
• ability to create HTML pages
• good report writing skills.
Excellent organisation skills combined with customer service skills are a must. Highly desirable if you have previous first or second line support of Financial applications.
